Compare duplicate candidates, browse screenshots and review visually similar suggestions. You decide what to select; similarity alone is not proof that a photo should be removed.
Create smaller copies
Choose photos or videos and a compression option. Supported files are processed on your device, while originals are kept unless you separately approve a supported original-removal action.
Turn motion into a still
Create JPEG still copies from supported animated images and verified Motion Photos. Format support varies; paired HEIC + MOV Live Photos are not supported by this tool.

Preview charging themes and explicitly apply one to request automatic playback. Permissions, Android restrictions and device settings affect availability; browsing alone does not enable monitoring.

Analysis is read-only. Creating a copy is not the same as deleting an original.
- Local media processing. The current Android app does not upload your library to a SpaceCleaner server or include advertising or analytics SDKs.
- Clear permission choices. Media access can be limited or denied. Optional charging display access is requested in context.
- Separate consent for originals. On supported Android versions, original-media changes require Android confirmation. On Android 9 and 10, original management is handed to your gallery app.
- No inflated savings. Copies may use additional storage. Results depend on the file, chosen settings and device.
A few straightforward answers.
Does the storage overview clean anything automatically?
No. Foreground analysis reads accessible media and measures this app’s cache. It does not automatically select media, delete files or clear other apps’ private caches.
Are my originals kept when I create copies?
Yes. Compression and still-image conversion create separate copies. If you later choose a supported original-removal action, it is a separate flow with the applicable Android confirmation. Copies can retain embedded metadata, including existing location tags when accessible; SpaceCleaner is not a metadata-removal tool.
Does SpaceCleaner need an account or upload my library?
No SpaceCleaner account is required. The current Android app has no Internet permission and processes media locally. A browser, email app, cloud-backed file picker or gallery-sync service you choose may connect separately under its own policy.
When does charging playback start?
Choosing “Apply” for a charging theme requests the optional monitor after the theme is saved. Missing access is explained in context; previewing alone does not enable it. You can stop monitoring in the app or through its notification. Automatic playback is not guaranteed on every device or lock-screen state, and the app does not promise to restart itself after force-stop or reboot.
